Tour Description

Gangotri is the birthplace of the holy river Ganga. According to the popular Hindu legend, it was here that Goddess Ganga descended when Lord Shiva released
the mighty river from the locks of his hair. Dedicated to the goddess, Gangotri Dham is the second temple that falls on the Chota Char dham route. It was built
by the Nepalese General, Amar Singh Thapa. The origin of the holy river however is at Gaumukh, the sacred snout of the Gangotri Glacier, which is a 19
 trek from gangotri.

Tour Description

Day 1: Day 1 : Haridwar - Uttarkashi(190kms/7hr)

Morning drive straight to Uttarkashi, Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments . Check in Hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Day 2 :Uttarkashi – Gangotri - Uttarkashi (165 kms/6hrs)

Early morning breakfast at the hotel and drive to Gangotri. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. Upon arrival at Gangotri
take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges then Visit the Gangotri Temple. Back to Uttarkashi Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 3: Day 3 : Uttarkashi - Haridwar (190kms/7hr)

Morning Drive to Haridwar ,Reach Haridwar, transfer to drop at your location.
